The channel relay module is a full height module that provides four relay outputs. Any number of 4-channel relay modules can be placed in any slot on the right side of the transient data interface module. Each output of the 4-channel relay module can be independently programmed to execute voting logic.

Each relay used on the 4-channel relay module contains alarm drive logic.

The programming of alarm driven logic uses AND and OR logic, and can use alarm inputs (alarm and danger states), exceptions, or individual PPLs from any monitoring channel or any combination of monitoring channels in the rack. You can use 3500 rack configuration software to program this alarm driver to meet your application requirements.

The 3500 monitors ordered with hazard certification options (01 and -02) have passed Zone 2/2 standard certification (including ATEX/IECEx and North American regions and zones). The Division 2/Zone 2 standard specifies increased spacing requirements at higher voltages, and the 3500/32M relay
