Product Description
The GE Integrated Circuit Chip PROM Set features two PROM modules that are compatible with several GE Mark V boards. The EPROM modules store the configuration files for a drive, or other device. The configuration file from the factory is a default configuration. However, editing tools are available to edit the configuration for the purposes of the site. The configuration file can be downloaded to a laptop or other device for editing through a serial cable connected to the drive and to the serial port on the laptop or other device. Once you have completed the editing, you can upload it to the drive where it is stored on the PROM modules.
