Product Description

The GE Field Exciter Board DS200FECBG1A features 2 jumpers identified as BJ1 and BJ2 and an overvoltage protection controller integrated on the board.  The overvoltage protection controller on the GE Field Exciter Board DS200FECBG1A is a component that stores high-voltage current during normal operation of the board. When you remove power from the drive you must wait 30 seconds for the current to exit the component before you touch it or touch the board. To remove power to the drive, you can refer to any individual familiar with the installation of the drive. This would include electricians, or servicers. They would be familiar with the power supplies and power cable routing used during installation. The power supply connected to the drive converts AC to the DC voltage required to power the drive. To disable the power supply you can remove the fuse. Keep the fuse in a safe place away from the power supply while the replacement is on going.
