Product Description

Exciter Terminal Board IS200EXTBG3A is part of the EX2100 series of models. This board is one of the many input/output terminal boards and is used to control the protection functions and field flashing. This module supports signal conditioning, pilot relay contact outputs, and contact inputs. This is the third of four EXTB boards, this board is a redundant control and operates in breaker mode, this model is also the first of the four models to allow for the trip 41T relay to be used. 

The IS200EXTBG3A model is used alongside the EDEX model to help with the firing of de-excitation. The power supply of this model is sent through the M1, M2, or C controller and will be seventy volts of direct current (VDC) and this power supply is redundant. The EXTB board will either be used for controlling a contactor within the field circuit or controlling a field breaker in the field circuit. 

Board IS200EXTBG3A is used with two manuals, the product-specific manual GEI-100468 is used for installation and procedures, and the GEH-6632 manual is a series manual and lists the other parts that are used with this specific model.
