Product Description

The 193X704ABG02 is a Sensitive Relay Board manufactured by GE for their Speed Variator Drive system as well as for their SCR Drive system.  While these systems both fall under the “Speed Variator Products” department at GE, there are some significant differences in the drives. The Speed Variator drive is bidirectional while the SDR drive is unidirectional.  As a constant torque range system, the Speed Variator drive changes horsepower linearly with speed as the load torque remains constant. The SDR drive offers adjustable acceleration. The SDR drive also includes an operator station.  

The 193X704ABG02 has a tall front blue and silver panel with a rounded handle attached to its bottom edge.  The panel attaches to the PCB via two screws inserted into a flange then through the PCB and then supported by a metal bar attached along the top edge of the board.  The front panel is marked with the GE logo and the board information. There are four rotating switches (Gain/P628/P627/Bias) that connect through cut-outs to rotary potentiometers on the other side of the panel.
