Product Description

The 193X242ABG03 is a PCB component manufactured by GE.  This board component is designed to fit into GE systems with DC motors, such as the Speed Variator system,  the SCR Drive System, or other comparable drives. The Speed Variator Drive is an adjustable speed, closed loop, bidirectional system that is often used for machine tool control, coordinated lines, or test stand systems. The SCR drive is unidirectional and offers adjustable acceleration and adjustable speed. It is also a closed-loop system. The SCR drive is also used for coordinated lines and machine tool control. It is considered a general purpose drive.   Both systems have DC motors.

The 193X242ABG03 functions as a Tachometer monitor board.   This board is responsible for the measurement of the rotation speed of the motor (RPM.)   The board is designed with a front faceplate with a single curved handle. This handle allows users to easily remove or insert the PCB when maintenance or replacement is necessary.  The faceplate is marked with the board’s id number, its use, and the GE logo. It has four round openings, one which is blocked by a plug. Two of these openings allow access to trim potentiometers that are located on the board directly behind each one.  The use of these potentiometers is marked on the front faceplate.
