DS200AAHAH1ADC Hub LAN Driver Board EX2000
DS200AAHAH1ADC is an ARCNET connected PCB. It was originally produced and sold by GE as part of its Mark V LM series components for the Speedtronic series.
DS200AAHAH1ADC is commonly referred to as an AAHA board. It typically serves as an interface unit between external modules of different I/O kernels or<R>control engines. It enables these interface units to access ARCNET. Usually, two AAHA boards are used together with the<R>core. The first AAHA board serves as the connection between the user interface and the<R>core. There is an APL connector on AAHA that can be connected to the UCPB sub board in the<R>kernel on the UCIA board. The second AAHA board is used as a method to connect the<R>kernel to COREBUS. It promotes active communication between the I/O kernel and the<R>control engine in the<R>kernel. The APL connection on this AAHA is connected to the PANA daughter board.
DS200AAHAH1ADC is a very small sub board with three communication ports on top. The leftmost port is the infrequently used EBNC port. Next to EBNC are the ARCBNC-B and ARCBNC-A ports. These two ports are connected to ARCNET. At the bottom of the circuit board are three pin connectors. The first pin connector is a 2-pin 2PL socket. The center of the bottom edge is a 10 pin APL socket. Next to the APL is a 9-pin EPL jack, which is also not frequently used.
