The output board is a simplex servo I/O terminal board manufactured and designed by General Electric, and is part of the Mark VI series used in GE Speedtronic control systems. The small terminal block used for DIN rail connections is called a simplex servo input/output (DSVO) terminal block. The board has two servo outputs, I/O for six LVDT position sensors, and two active pulse rate inputs for flow monitoring. Jumpers are used to select servo coil currents between 10 and 120 mA. A 37 pin cable, similar to the cable used on larger TSVO boards, is used to connect DSVO to the VSVO processor board. To save cabinet space, the wiring boards can be vertically stacked on DIN rails. If necessary, two DSVO boards can be linked to VSVO. This board is only available in simplex form.

The onboard function and high-frequency decoupling to ground are the same as those on TSVO. The high-density Euro Block type terminal blocks are connected to the circuit board using six screws for grounding connections (SCOM). To identify the VSVO board for system diagnosis, connectors JR1 and J5 are connected to signals from the onboard ID chip.

Installation:

After placing the DSVO board into the plastic bracket, install it onto the DIN rail. The wiring terminals should receive servo I/O lines directly connected. Euro Block type terminal blocks are installed on the terminal board, with 42 or 36 terminals (DSVOH1B, H2B) depending on the version. Frequently use twisted pair cables with # 18 AWG shielding. For the SCOM (ground) connection, six screws numbered 31 to 36 are provided; These screws should be used within the shortest possible distance.

Configuration:

The servo valve coil resistance and required coil current ranging from 22 W to 1000 W are selected on DSVOH1B through jumpers JP1 and JP2. The coil current and resistance are shown in the table below; For example, jumper 120B provides approximately 120 mA of coil current.
