GE has created DS200AAHAH2A as part of the Speedtronic Mark V LM series ARCNET HUB LAN driver board. As a traditional series, GE no longer provides any type of support for this board. However, AX Control will attempt to retain the inventory of the board.
DS200AAHAH2A is a very simple circuit board. It has two different connections at the top edge. The top right corner is the ARCBNC-A port, and the left side is the ARCBNC-B port. These provide ARCNET communication. There are two different connection ports on the board. The middle of the bottom edge is an APL 10 pin port. Finally, in the bottom right corner is a 2PL connection port that powers the<R>core of the TCPS board. After connecting this board to other hardware, it can run normally without further software modifications.
DS200AAHAH2A provides essential functionality in the Mark V control panel. It was originally intended to provide ARCNET connectivity and communication for internal devices within the<R>core. It has the ability to link the main control engine in the<R>kernel to the I/O kernel also located in the<R>kernel. It can also link the control engine to external devices< R> The kernel actually requires two different DS200AAHAH2A boards to run. These boards provide different types of connections for the<R>core. Connect the<R>core to the COREBUS and PANA boards. Another is to create a Stage Link between the user interface and the<R>core.
