DS200DACAG1A is an AC/DC converter board for GE Speedtronic systems.This board is most commonly used with the GE EX2100 exciter/excitation control module, which provides field current to control the AC terminal voltage of steam/gas/hydro generators and their reactive volt-amperes.It is a modular system that can be designed as a single or redundant control unit.It supports Ethernet LAN communication with other GE devices, including control system toolboxes, OEM operator interfaces, and LCI static starters.The DS200DACAG1A is no longer manufactured by GE but is available from AX Control as refurbished units or liquidated unused excess stock.The DS200DACAG1A acts as an AC to DC converter.This is one of several power strips included in the EX2100.The DS200DACAG1A board is powered by 115 VAC power, which is then converted by the board to a 125 VDC output.The circuit board and its battery power supply also provide redundant 125 VDC power to the EPDM circuit board.Two DS200DACAG1 boards can be connected to the EPDM for redundancy.For a more detailed description of the DS200DACAG1A, please refer to GE's publications such as data sheets, product manuals, and user guides.These will provide information on handling instructions and warnings as well as step-by-step installation procedures.
